t raditional fishing boats are used by fishermen for finding fish to support their daily lives. Because there many shortcomings in (design problems) and natural conditions that often change, accidents can occur which cause easily overturn sink the bottom of sea. Other problems were also encountered, such as boat's obstacles , floating compartment was not well designed. For this reason, author conducted research on design a boat with using BKI rules. Using one existing made reference sizes. The principal dimension is LOA: 10.15 m, Lwl: 8,996 B: 1 H: 0.87 0.3 2 GT. results calculations find engine specification suits 3.5 kW speed 7 knots. author's varies Flo o dable Length original size 1.365 m AP, 1.325 FP, model rules AP 2.225 FP 2.425 m. analysis result based shows best design. C onstruction accordance regulations, mixed type construction chosen. frame distance 500 mm stiffener h = 25 mm, bb 30 bc 36 mm. Meanwhile, total stringer 6 stiffeners.
